This is me (on the left) and my sister Liddy, embracing our inner creatives with some dramatic felt tip scribbles. My artwork today is a little tidier, but the urge to create remains just as strong.

From a very young age, I knew my life would follow an artistic path, and as my interest in calligraphy and written artwork grew, I began experimenting.

I’d wander happily through art and stationery shops (the sort of places I could cheerfully set up camp!), selecting inks from around the world, trying different nibs and brushes, swirling letters onto every scrap of paper I could get my hands on.

artwork for your wedding day

written by emily was born in 2018, and I adore the versatility of the work I get to do.

I don’t have a set calligraphy style, and am always open to new challenges, new fonts and new ways of bringing language to life as a work of art. Every piece I take on includes some element created by hand (whether that’s stationery from the collection or a bespoke design just for you), and I wouldn’t have it any other way. Not only does this give you an original piece of artwork for your wedding day – it allows me to feel a really genuine connection with the work I’m doing. This day that is so meaningful to you becomes just as cherished for me as I sit in my corner studio with my pens, pots of jewel-toned inks and tiny brushes.

What you receive isn’t a perfectly polished piece of printed art, something that’s able to be replicated many times over. Each stroke is painstakingly done by hand – you’ll see the textures of paint, the tiny imperfections.

Everything that leaves my studio is made with love, and that’s exactly how it should be.

I’d love to talk to you about your ideas for your wedding stationery - whether you aren’t sure where to start or you’ve already got your dream design sorted.

Get in touch to say hello and let’s have a chat. I can’t wait to hear from you.
