bespoke wedding table plan ideas
For couples that want an unusual themed table plan that represents you as a couple and tells your story - but are stuck for ideas. Here are three of my favourite ideas for personalising your seating chart, each featuring hand drawn custom illustrations. As with all my wedding stationery, everything is completely bespoke to you and your wedding - so you can change the illustrations, colours, design, layout, etc - but hopefully this gives you a bit of inspiration for your table plan.
All designs are available as a large board, or individual hanging cards, and lovingly designed and printed in London, UK. The examples below show how you can adapt each one to create a top table layout.
where in the world are you sitting table plan
One for the adventurers - my most popular request is for a travel themed table plan featuring watercolour country outlines of the places that are important to you, places that you have travelled together, where you are from, and so on. I paint each of your favourite countries by hand and scan them to create a digital design, so the colour palette of the individual countries and all wording can be customised as much as you would like.
The wedding table plan shown here uses a sage green colour palette with outlines of different Greek Island, using a top table layout.
Tip: Make sure each table name card is clearly visible on the table - I recommend framing them to keep them secure. Plus they make a great gallery wall art display in your home after your wedding!
relationship milestones table plan
Bespoke illustrations of your relationship milestones - from where you met and your first date to where you got engaged, and your wedding venue. I will create little pencil sketches of your favourite places and moments, and these are then designed into your seating chart and matching table name cards.
Tip: try to mix it up and use signs, objects and symbols to represent your story, rather than all buildings!
I can use the illustrations to create individual table name cards to go on each of the tables - like this illustration of ‘our first holiday’.
places you’ve lived table plan
If you want something a bit different and unusual for your seating chart - what about using road names of different places you have lived, where you grew up, where you met, and so on. Like the other examples, each street name sign is hand painted to order and the colours are completely customisable. I can also create matching table name cards featuring each road name.

All table plans are available either as a large board, or as individual cards, like the example below. It’s up to you how you choose to display them - you can hang them, frame them, pin them to a larger sign.
